Ms. Cordero joins the healthcare executive search firm following a career, which included 18 years with First City Bancorporation of Texas where she rose to SVP / Chief Human Resources Officer for 17 banking locations. Ms. Cordero was subsequently recruited in 1990 to join American Medical International (AMI). Following Tenet’s acquisition of AMI in 1994, Ms. Cordero became Vice President, Human Resources and led both the Dallas corporate office and 60 hospitals in the Eastern Division. Following her retirement in 2002 Lourdes has maintained an active consulting career, which has included working with a national healthcare executive search firm.
