Lourdes Cordero joined Kraft Search Associates in 2008 with a superior record of 13 years of achievement as a corporate leader within Tenet Healthcare Corporation, in her own consulting firm and by partnering with Witt Kieffer on specific projects. The first 18 years of her career was with First City Bancorporation of Texas where she was selected to participate in the company's Management Trainee Program and subsequently rose to the position of Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer for the North Texas Region where she oversaw 17 banking locations.

In 1990, American Medical International a $3 Billion, 36-hospital system recruited Lourdes to lead the company succession plan, employee relations, and executive mentoring & education programs. Tenet acquired AMI in 1994. As the Vice President, Human Resources at Tenet, a $13.5 Billion hospital system operating 121 hospitals in 16 states, Ms Cordero supported the company's corporate employees based in Dallas and 60 hospitals in the Eastern Division of the company. This was accomplished through eight regional offices, 60 hospital based Human Resources Departments, and a Corporate Service Center concept. She was the company lead Human Resources Officer during the formation of the Florida Region including the recruitment of key executives to its regional office and 13 hospitals. When Tenet acquired the Allegheny Hospitals in Philadelphia, she directly supervised the reorganization of the Human Resources function and set forward the labor, executive staffing and employment strategy.

Under her leadership several key programs at Tenet were developed, such as the company's Fair Treatment process and binding arbitration for all employment related conflicts, a positive labor strategy; 50 best practices in support of retention, recruitment and workforce planning; the company Employee Opinion Survey, recruitment/retention metrics, and acquisition and divestiture processes. Ms Cordero was known to her executives as a coach, mentor, employee advocate, and a relentless Human Resources executive that understood the company's strategy and business plan. She elected to retire in May of 2002 and has maintained an active career.

Through her own consulting firm and her contract work with the office of Witt Kieffer in Dallas, she completed executive searches at the level of Regional/Group Executive, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Nurse Executive, Senior Human Resources Officer, Clinical Director and Director of Human Resources. Some of these projects requiring a focus on diversity placement. Her practice has expanded to Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, and Corporate Human Resources Assessments. Her client base have been corporate entities, investor-owned acute and specialty hospitals and non-profit/faith-based acute.
