Melissa Hunter

Senior Associate

Melissa Hunter is a Senior Associate with Kraft Search Associates in the Nashville office. Melissa joined Kraft Search Associates in August 2005 and is responsible for developing detailed project strategies and research strategies, managing internal recruiting efforts from inception to completion, and communicating with clients and candidates during start-up, status updates, and through final offer negotiation. She serves as a point of contact for candidates and researchers throughout the recruiting process.

Melissa has worked with a diverse spectrum of clients in both the healthcare provider and payer markets to include for profit and not for profit healthcare systems, venture-backed and publicly traded healthcare service companies, and multi conglomerate, international Fortune 50 companies focused in the healthcare industry.

Melissa has completed searches that encompass the C-Suite and her functional experience covers most major areas, including EVP, SVP and VP in the following areas: Corporate Development (Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions), Corporate Finance (CFO, Investor Relations, Chief Accounting Officer, Controller, Financial Reporting and Internal Controls), Strategic Marketing, Sales & Business Development, Operations, Chief Clinical Leadership roles and Supply Chain Management.

Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's degree in Human & Organizational Development with a minor in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of Leadership Health Care and is active as a Vanderbilt University Alumnus.
